What Audible Benefit Does Your Multiple Subwoofer System Provide?

So, you have a multiple subwoofer system, and it measures perfectly. But what do you actually hear?

I'm curious to know what you guys hear that is the biggest difference to you. Is it very noticeable, or more subtle? Which do you like better subjectively? And what configurations are you comparing?

Excellent questions! Most of my current audio systems have single driver subwoofer enclosures and 1 enclosure per system.

I would think going from 1 driver to 2 drivers (same enclosure type and same volume per driver), you would hear less distortion and more SPL at the same volume levels as the single driver enclosure. 2 individual enclosures vs dual driver enclosure, you probably would k!ll some room nodes with 2 individual enclosures and separate positioning.
