I've seen so many reviewers praising the Proprius release of Cantate Domino. I found it in hires on Qobuz and I'm listening to it on the 8900 with the hanging filament 2A3s. What should I be listening for? Sounds like a pretty ordinary recording me. The sounds seem a bit distant and I can't figure out where I should be placing myself in the arena (I have never heard a choir in a church, so I don't have context for how it should sound). Nothing really stands out to me apart from shrill and spatially distributed sounds (organ notes, male and female choir and lead singer). Any pointers on specific tracks and attributes to look for?
