Its not bottoming out, I know that.
The cone slap isn't at really low frequencies. they are often inside the drivers frequency responce. I'm not positive but it seems to me like it often happens at 90hz and below, I'm kinda afraid my Denon just puts out too much power.
Unforunately my computer isn't being very nice and won't let me download MathCAD. Well it wont let me instal it.
About the port (I have to give you some background info about the box) the sides of the box were first and last, so all of the wood is sandwhiched in between the 2 sides, including the top and bottom. Could I pull out the bottom pannel, and then stick a piece of wood under the two sides, I went into paint and made this little picture to help.
And I could make 1/4" more inside the port if the port is too big.
