I am unsure about the PCB's, very tiny, no room to put the tip of my soldering iron next to a part.

They are a lot easier if you get solder stencils made and use a rework oven or toaster oven instead of an iron.

I guess I should have done that. Just checked at jlcpcb and stencil is only 6,42 if ordered together with the pcb. Main problem remains lack of time. I'm kind of a slowpoke these days and carry a huge to-do list.

Given the similarities betweem the slewmaster series, the wolverine and this Spooky and Hellraiser SMD 60W amps, I have wondered if the original slewmaster IPS's were compatible with both the wolverine and this Spooky and Hellraiser SMD 60W amps.
The original slewmaster IPS's were through hole. I haven't waded through the many pages of all these OPS amps, so it may have been mentioned that they are or are not compatible with each other.

As far as I know there is no out of the box compatibility between any. My intention was to use the SMD Spooky on my Wolverine EF3 OPS. Pete told me to change something for that but I can't find he message back. Might have to do with the VAS current.

jwilhelm confirms the slewmaster IPS boards are compaitble electrically, but will need to be individually wired to use, as their formfactor isnt the same.

I assembly it, ips is infidel light bulb test is ok however I cannot set bias, no current flow through output transitors. Can we test ops and ips separately?

The input should operate standalone. You need to connect a 1k resistor from PD+ to the feedback input, and another 1k resistor from ND- to the feedback input to make it operate. You can calculate the VAS current by measuring the voltage drop across the resistors.

Hard to see with 100% certainty in your picture, but check Q104, looks like you the EB wires reversed, looks like RED is Emitter on the transistor and should be on the right pin on the board as your picture is facing, but may be on the left pin? Some overhead, clear high quality pictures may assist with our help.

15k between ND- / PD+ to rails will give 70ma on a proper ef3 mini. Without the IPS.

15k acroos PD+ and V+ and ND- and V-, still no current flow. Q104 is correct yellow is E and I mount tr upsidedown. No short between HS and all trs.

That sounds about right to make everything run. What voltage are you getting base to emitter on the output transistors?
